{"id":391,"date":"2026-01-12T16:50:48","date_gmt":"2026-01-12T16:50:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/roadmapper.se\/?page_id=391"},"modified":"2026-02-06T09:54:42","modified_gmt":"2026-02-06T09:54:42","slug":"fallstudier","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/roadmapper.se\/en\/fallstudier\/","title":{"rendered":"Case Studies"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a>Overview for all Case Studies<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Across all contexts, our work is characterised by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>principled sustainability definitions (FSSD)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>system-level understanding (systems analysis and dynamics)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>strategic reasoning (backcasting and pathway design)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and, where relevant, decision instruments (Roadmapper Tool)<br><br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The format changes.<br>The logic does not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The case Studies below illustrate how the Swedish Roadmapper Laboratory applies the same underlying logic across different contexts and engagement formats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They are representative examples, not project reports.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a>Value-driven sustainability transition<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Roadmaps and Simulators<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Developing a aoadmap and decision instrument for a regional transport system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Context<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within the GreenCharge project (led by BTH) a region was mobilized (Sm\u00e5land and Blekinge) to investigate alternative sustainability transition pathways for personal road mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Challenge<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>High uncertainty and strong dependencies between stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What we did<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mobilized 50+ stakeholders in Sm\u00e5land and Blekinge<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Built a tailor-made simulator (a precursor to Roadmapper Tool)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strucutred the simulator around sustainability principles and system dynamics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developed interactive scenarios for transition<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Summarized the results in the book 'On Track for 2030'<br><br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What this enabled<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">An informed strategic dialogue, exploration of tradeoffs, common systems understanding and concrete investments in transition through electric vehicles and charging infrastructure.<br><br><em>See more via the link to the book<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/a.bth.se\/sustaintrans\/vagval-2030-fardplan-for-snabbomstallning-till-hallbara-persontransporter\/\" target=\"_self\">On Track for 2030 - Roadmap for a Fast Transition to Sustainable Personal Transport<\/a><\/strong><\/em><br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a>Climate Budget and Solutions Modeling<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Emission trajectory analysis for a Swedish County (Blekinge)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Context<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Swedish County that wants to update the regional carbon emissions budget to see the status for long term climate commitments as they work with the regional climate and development strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Challenge<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was unclear how to translate goals to concrete implementable solutions.
